The Nurmijärven Sähkö Group is an energy service company owned by the municipality of Nurmijärvi that offers its customers services related to electricity and district heating. The starting point for our operations is to provide our customers with energy and services in an environmentally friendly and cost-effective manner.
The Nurmijärven Sähkö Group consists of the parent company Nurmijärven Sähkö Oy and its wholly-owned subsidiary Nurmijärven Sähköverkko Oy.
We operate in the Nurmijärvi area, and our electricity network also extends partly to neighbouring towns. We serve our customers with a reliable and efficient network, competitive prices and customer-oriented decision-making.
The Group has approximately 14,300 electricity sales customers and approximately 540 district heating customers.
Nurmijärven Sähkö Oy
Nurmijärven Sähkö Oy is responsible for the procurement, sale and invoicing of electricity. In addition, the company is responsible for customer service and marketing for the entire Group.
The company offers its customers local and district heating and builds and maintains a district heating network and production plants. The company is also responsible for the Group’s administrative functions, such as human resources, finance, information management and communications services.
Nurmijärven Sähköverkko Oy
Nurmijärven Sähköverkko Oy’s task is to distribute high-quality electricity to customers at an affordable price in all situations in its own network area. In addition to electricity distribution, the services include electricity connections, metering services and electricity balance management.
Nurmijärven Sähköverkko Oy is also responsible for the planning and construction of the electricity network in its area, taking environmental issues into account. An essential part of the operations is planning of the operations and maintenance and the acquisition of these services.

We serve our customers with a reliable and efficient network, competitive prices and customer-oriented decision-making. Our operations are also guided by responsibility and the desire to continuously develop and renew our operations. We use the profits we make for the benefit of the municipality of Nurmijärvi and its residents.

Our customers feel that our company is reliable and economically, socially and ethically responsible. The ratings we received in the customer satisfaction survey are clearly higher than the industry average. Our electricity network rose to the top of the survey, and our district heating customers are the second most satisfied among all consumer customers. Our electricity sales took the biggest leap upwards in the customer satisfaction of electricity sales companies.
