Nurmijärven Sähkö’s development projects
A forward-looking energy company invests! Ensuring and developing both electricity and heat distribution is part of security of supply. In addition, we are developing our own production in a low-carbon direction.
Security of supply starts at the local level. Nurmijärven Sähkö plays an important role in securing Finland’s energy self-sufficiency and security of supply. The task of Nurmijärven Sähköverkko is to maintain and develop the company’s electricity network, as well as to reliably and cost-effectively distribute electricity to customers.
We also have a role to play in achieving low-carbon solutions. Last year, about 97 per cent of the district heating we sold was produced with emission-free energy, and the development of the electricity network enables local investments relating to clean energy.
