Dispute resolution
Dispute resolution bodies in the event of a dispute, if the consumer has submitted a notice of defect to the trader and the parties have not been able to reach an agreement:
If a dispute concerning a contract cannot be resolved through negotiations between the parties, the consumer may refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi).
Before taking the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer must contact the Consumer Advisory Service (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi).
The primary dispute resolution body is the Consumer Disputes Board. The Consumer Disputes Board may dismiss the matter if the consumer has not first contacted the Consumer Advisory Service.
