1. Organizer
The prize draw is organised by Nurmijärven Sähkö Oy (hereinafter referred to as the “Draw organiser”), address: Kauppanummentie 1, FI-01900 Nurmijärvi, Finland, business ID: 0911384-5.
2. Terms and conditions for participation
Adults who meet the conditions set out in the prize draw information, such as newsletter subscribers or the customers of the Draw organiser, may participate in the prize draws. Employees of the Draw organiser, employees of partner companies or family members of the aforementioned parties cannot participate in the prize draw.
By entering the prize draw, the participants agree to comply with these rules.
3. Participation
Participation in the prize draw takes place by completing the procedure described in the prize draw information, such as subscribing to the newsletter or filling in the prize draw form.
4. Validity
The prize draw is valid for the period specified in the prize draw information. Entries received outside the validity period are not accepted.
5. Selection and announcement of the winner
The winner will be drawn from among the participants in the prize draw after the end of the prize draw period. The winner of the draw will be notified by way of a personal message or a Facebook message, for example. If the winner cannot be reached within a reasonable time after the prize draw has been carried out, the Draw organiser reserves the right to draw a new winner. If a participant in the draw is suspected of acting in violation of the rules, their participation may be rejected without separate notification.
Participants in the prize draw consent to the Draw organiser publishing the winner’s name (first name and first letter of last name) on channels chosen by the Draw organiser (e.g. website, social media channels) without separate consent, notice or compensation.
6. Prize
The prize of the draw will be announced in the information provided about the draw. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or other prizes.
7. Lottery tax
The Draw organiser is responsible for the statutory lottery tax.
8. Other terms and conditions
If the prize draw is organised or announced on the Draw organiser’s social media channels, these channels shall not sponsor, recommend, administer, participate or otherwise take part in the organisation of the prize draw.
The Draw organiser shall not be liable for any costs or other consequences related to the prize, its collection or its use. Participants in the draw shall indemnify the Draw organiser and any partners from any damage caused or allegedly caused by participation in the draw. The Draw organiser shall not be responsible for any problems or obstacles in participating in the prize draw or accepting the prize.
If required by tax law, the winner of the prize draw shall undertake to report the value of the prize to the tax authorities.
A participant in the draw shall only provide their information to the Draw organiser as described in the draw information. Personal data are processed in accordance with the register description of the Draw organiser.
The Draw organiser reserves the right to make changes to these rules, an ongoing prize draw, its prizes, the timing or other terms and conditions of the prize draw without notice. Any changes will be announced on the website of the Draw organiser.
